| Did you know that the electricity that powers our apartments, yes as a matter of facts the whole town of Bad Gastein, has no surce in coal powered plants or neucleare powered plants?
99% of the electricity comes from hydro plants, wind turbines, bioenergi and natural gas.
Only approxemately 1% comes from using oil.
This gives a stagering low CO2- emission of only 41.5 g/kWh.
Heating of our building is provided from local power plants producing heat by burning locally grown trees for the pupose. This is CO2 neutral!! And at the same time we are suporting the local community with jobs.
On top of our wellness centre we have installed solar heating pannels to provide solar heated water to our wellness centre.
So you can easily spend your vacation with a good environmental conscience ;-)
